London seeks to increase spend on SME services with the launch of Thirty3 Thirty3 launches with Greater London Authority (GLA) and the London Office of Technology and Innovation (LOTI) London-based SME Nitrous has today launched Thirty3 – a new collaborative procurement platform for the capital that aims to get new technologies benefitting cities faster. This is the first time that SMEs can get a single view of London’s public sector technology contract opportunities for free. They can also improve their procurement readiness by completing a pre-procurement assessment.Named after the number of London’s geographical areas, Thirty3 provides transparency around public procurement for SMEs and greater visibility of the SME market for buyers. SMEs can get an aggregated view of public sector buying opportunities across the capital’s boroughs and providers of public services, including the London Metropolitan Police and Transport for London. Public sector organisations can view technologies being used across the city – a feature that has been designed to encourage joint buying and pre-procurement collaboration and increase purchasing power. They can also view SME profiles to understand more about new technologies, with a view to better informing their requirements. Thirty3 has been configured for London in collaboration with the Greater London Authority (GLA) and the London Office of Technology and Innovation (LOTI). A launch event is taking place at 12:00 today with Theo Blackwell and George Johnston being joined by Debbie Mackenzie, General Manager at Proactis and Rikesh Shah, Head of Commercial Innovation at Transport for London.
